Our Employment Advisory Services group works with companies of all sizes, in a variety of industries, and with employees located throughout the United States. We work to offer practical solutions to problems that arise throughout an employee’s work lifecycle, including hiring, management and separation of workers.
Businesses must successfully select and manage their human resources in order to avoid costly disruptions arising from litigation, government interventions, and outside interference with the company’s workforce. To that end, we work with employers at the hiring stage to develop employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, restrictive covenant and non-compete agreements, and deferred compensation and incentive programs.
We help our clients remain compliant with state, Federal and local law by advising them regarding applicable employment regulations, workplace training, discipline and performance management, developing compliance plans, leave management and accommodations, and drafting appropriate employment policies and employee handbooks.
We further advise businesses when it becomes necessary for an employee to separate by providing termination counseling and drafting separation and release agreements, as well as navigating government investigations.
