Patrick Boland is an attorney in the firm’s Commercial Litigation group. Mr. Boland is experienced in resolving disputes at the trial and appellate court levels. He has litigated numerous cases to conclusion involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, violations of the Illinois Business Corporations Act and Limited Liability Company Act, real estate litigation, construction disputes, public and private mechanic’s lien claims, as well as general civil litigation. Mr. Boland is adept at pre-trial and trial litigation strategies and is accomplished at resolving disputes through negotiation. Mr. Boland also practices at the appellate level and has applied his writing and speaking abilities in drafting appellate briefs and oral argument, including before the United States Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Patrick, his wife, and three daughters reside in Wheaton, Illinois. Before becoming an attorney, Patrick was a seventh grade English teacher. Patrick has a passion for film and literature which he shares with his wife, an English instructor at Benet Academy. When not practicing law, Patrick enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing vintage baseball with the Lemont Quarrymen, and travelling. Patrick is also a parishioner of St. Michael’s parish in Wheaton and volunteers as a mentor for the Give Something Back Foundation.
